At LEWIS Access, we’re committed to delivering exceptional service that stands well apart from our competitors. Part of this equation is our own delivery system.
Quite a few years ago, we relied on couriers. Names you’ll recognise, but we won’t mention them for legal reasons. Long story short, parts went missing and orders were delayed.
So, we made the decision to develop our own delivery system. In this post, you’ll discover how we do it.
Key Features
Operates like a Milk Float Round
Remember the days of a milk float round? Well, we operate in a similar fashion. When you place an order, it’s loaded onto one of our 7 box trucks by our drivers at our manufacturing facility in south London.
Routes
Each of our 7 box vans has a designated route. With their starting point in London, their routes form a kind of spider’s web as they travel across the UK. As they all do a roundtrip, our box trucks tend not to have an empty leg.
Sleeper Trucks
With orders from across the country, and only one depot, our drivers sleep on the road for 4 days. Covering several counties on a single day, we’re able to reach the northern and western counties sooner. In fact, our drivers, on average, deliver 25 orders on a single run.
Benefits Our Customers Experience
Reliability
With our fine-tuned delivery routes, well-maintained trucks, and one depot, we reduce the chances of delays due to breakdowns or missing components.
Personalised Service
Our drivers represent us. They’ll unload the trucks and assist you in placing the components in a designated spot. They also know if something is right or wrong with an order, so they can address it straightaway with our exceptional office team.
Tracking and Updates
Customers receive real-time updates on their order status, and can contact our office team for more details on their orders.
Product Protection
As our drivers are employed by us, they handle your order with care.
